While the US gets snow, England gets rain. I'm not sure which I'd prefer at this point...
Anyways, last night I stayed up until 3am catching up with a friend.. which caused me to oversleep. My friend who's in my class called me to see where I was and I literally sprang out from my bed like no other. But my professor, as awesome as he is, was cool with it. So today's field trip was to Westminster Abbey - where Will & Kate had their wedding. Not only that, but Queen Elizabeth II had her coronation there and some significant people are buried there (such as Queen Elizabeth I). Also, the interior architecture is quite beautiful! But no pictures were allowed, so you'll just have to google image them or something.
Tonight, our hospitality class (which only has 10 students, mind you) and our professor went out to a pub to drink and relax until the comedy show by David Trent that was hosted at the SoHo Theatre. Andy (my professor) bought us drinks!! (He's the best) and so in return, we bought him a tequila shot and a glass of London Pride.
I didn't thoroughly enjoy the stand up comedy because 90% of the time he was using his powerpoint slides so he didn't do too much talking. And even when he did talk, it wasn't too entertaining. But overall, it was a fun night out with the SHA (hospitality) kids and our beloved professor.
But my real goal of the night (and I think the rest of the class could agree) was to take a group picture with our professor. And I succeeded. In fact, I took a group selfié - yeah, how 'bout it.
Excuse my big face, but yes.
