Day 51

hi guys, how are y'all?!? good, i hope.

well, today at my internship we had induction for newly hired employees/trainees/interns. we sat through hours of lectures on the hotel's history and values, important people of the hotel, providing top quality service, and even did some group exercises. i met some more english people who were aspiring to be a chef, hotelier, tailor. yup, a tailor. i noticed something different about this guy who was in a very nice and well-fitted suit. he said he wanted to work at the hotel because of the fact that this hotel's customers are known for their high quality attire. how cool is this kid?! and he's only 17. but he seemed so mature and smart!

anyways, the best part about the induction/orientation was definitely lunch that was catered. i don't even know what they were but it was some good stuff. also desserts included macarons (perfectly made), chocolate cake and lemon tart. oh, also. they gave us a morning break before that which consisted of croissants and pain au chocolat. so gooood eep!

tomorrow is our final day of induction/orientation during which we will go over more details and information about the company and other important shtuff.
