Day 62

happy friday, frans.

today was a looooong day. started it off by going on a field trip with my class to the british museum, the british library, university college of london, euston tube station and kings cross tube station. i am finally beginning to understand the reasons behind each type of architecture and it's pretty cool. afterwards, i was so hungry and i've been wanting to try this sushi take out chain called WASABI that's pretty common in london. i got a box of sushi and sashimi for like 5 pounds which isn't bad! It was pretty yummz too.

after dinner i went to Cafe Nero in green park because i needed some me time. so i took my moleskin and journaled for about two hours. i used to blog on tumblr instead of handwriting on a journal because i was too 1) i was too lazy and 2) i could never get my thoughts out onto paper as quickly as my thoughts move which leads to forgetfulness of my deep and original ideas and thoughts (lol). but I'm trying to go back to the habit of handwriting because it has more feels when i look back and it's more raw because of the disability to "delete" or "backspace" or edit anything.

then Mythri and I met up and went to a cafe called Candid Cafe right outside of angel tube station. my sister worked there when she was studying abroad two years ago. it was sort of like a hole in the wall. it was verrrry vintage and hipster. i'm not sure if i'll ever go again, but it was definitely original and like no other cafe i've ever been to.

anyways, tomorrow i'm going on a short getaway with Mythri to Brighton! so stay tuned, peeps.
